"Welcoming Hearts. Serving Hands. Reflecting God's Love."

Greeters & Ushers

The Hospitality Ministry serves as the first expression of Christ's love at Weeping Willow AME Zion Church. Through the dedicated service of our Greeters and Ushers, we strive to ensure that every person who enters our doors feels welcomed, valued, and encouraged to worship.

Our Ushers serve with reverence and kindness by assisting with seating, maintaining an atmosphere of worship, providing guidance when needed, and supporting the orderly flow of each service and special event. Their ministry helps create an environment where everyone can focus on encountering God.

Our Greeters extend a warm smile, offer directions, answer questions, and help guests and members feel at home from the moment they arrive. Their friendly presence reflects the love of Christ and sets the tone for a meaningful worship experience.

Together, the Greeters and Ushers demonstrate the spirit of Christian hospitality by serving with joy, respect, and compassion . As ambassadors of Weeping Willow AME Zion Church, they help fulfill our mission to Shine God's Light, Share God's Love, and S.H.A.P.E. God's People, ensuring that every guest and member experiences the warmth of God's family.

Hospitality Ministry members helps the church:

  • Shine God's Light by welcoming everyone with warmth and joy.

  • Share God's Love by serving with compassion and kindness.

  • S.H.A.P.E. God's People by creating an environment where people feel accepted, connected, and encouraged to grow in faith.
